‘Months,’ the oncologist replied.

When he heard this devastating news, Steve Legg and his wife Bekah made a bold decision – they would get busy living and get busy laughing. Yes, there were tears that day and in those that followed, but Steve is a funnyman and a man of faith. He was never going to give cancer the last laugh.

Gaz’s Story

This is Gaz’s Story. Growing up in Leicester, facing difficult family circumstances, and falling into addiction and criminal behaviour. Gaz reached a breaking point and cried out to God for help after coming out of prison and needing to get off heroin and change his life. The Carpenters Arms is a Christian rehabilitation centre that welcomed Gaz in, where he is now committed to helping others who are struggling

Sean’s Story

Growing up in a small fishing town in Devon, Sean quickly found his life turning from one violent and empty encounter to the next, just adding to the man he no longer recognised himself to be. 

After a brutal attack on Sean’s life, and the care and unconditional friendship of another bloke, Sean began a remarkable journey from violence and pain, to freedom and joy.
